Overview

The North East and Yorkshire Net Zero Hub is hosting a special event celebrating the amazing work of community organisations, town and parish councils, faith groups, sports teams and charities to power their neighbourhoods- and bringing them together to inspire and inform each others projects, and to introduce them to potential sources of funding.

📍Priory Street Centre, York 

The event will be held in partnership with Energy Learning Network, Community Energy England and Northern Powergrid will; 
-Facilitate introductions to social funders and finance providers- with 121 sessions with community groups.
-Allow interactive knowledge sharing and networking between community energy groups.
-Provide updates from the network operator on grid connections, their new Community Energy Team and the Northern Powergrid Foundation. 
-Deliver masterclasses on overcoming common obstacles to Community Energy projects from Community Energy England and the Energy Learning Network.
