Empowering communities in our region
The Northern Powergrid Foundation is passionate about supporting the communities where we live and work. The Foundation is committed to funding projects that support energy resilience initiatives and helps those located in our local communities who are most affected by changes in the economy, environment and society because of the shifting energy landscape.
To date, the Foundation has donated over £860,000 supporting unique and exciting 60 projects located within Northern Powergrid's region of the North East, Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire in their bid to support their communities to become more energy resilient, reduce fuel poverty or to be prepared for the future changes to the network. What to expect when you apply?
