The Northern Powergrid Foundation is an independent charity managed and governed by a Board of Trustees who have a duty, acting at all times in the best interests of the Foundation.

Trustees are elected from within Northern Powergrid, along with external and independent trustees. The Foundation is chaired by an independent trustee.
