Joe has extensive Chair and Non Executive Director experience and has held numerous CEO and Senior Executive roles in the public and private sectors. He is the Managing Director of Bede Homes, a successful North East residential housing developer. He is currently Chair of the Council of Durham University and is a Trustee of Esmee Fairbairn Foundation.

Joe chairs the Foundation’s Board of Trustees which sets the strategy and delivers the priorities of the charity.
