As an experienced Executive Director, David has worked in a variety of international manufacturing organisation leading on developing and delivering strategies for growth and sustainability. Having an engineering and sales background, David has been heavily involved with an assortment of projects which have had a continuing influence on a wide range of organisations and the communities they serve. David is now semi-retired and holds a number of Non-Executive Director and Trustee positions within the social care and educational sector, which bring him in to contact with community groups throughout the North East and Yorkshire.

As part of his role as an independent Trustee for the Foundation, David is keen to engage with and support local community groups and projects where the Foundation can make a real difference in delivering energy resilient solutions now and in the future.
