Kirklevington and Castlelevington Memorial Hall receives £15,589 to protect their community of Kirklevington and Castlelevington, Teesside, by opening the hall in times of power interruptions due to having increased resilience with solar panels and battery storage.
Kirklevington is a village in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England. The village is located by hamlet of Castlelevington. The hall's main aim was to improve its carbon footprint with the adoption of renewable energy measures that would improve the financial viability of the hall, to improve energy efficiency and to support the local community during times of power interruptions but also by delivering more services using the funds that would have normally contributing to energy bills.
